There are these creepy creatures called Harvestmen and during an event called The Harvest, they go out and kill people and harvest their souls for the great harvestman who is their king. There are different types, they do magic and stuff. You wake up on this platform and you follow a road to a village and so in this village people tell you about the harvestmen and so you go around and kill them with your knife and using light magic. In the end you are fighting the king and you find out that you are a harvestman yourself and you were on the platform for your purification and you became a light harvestman (a good version) you realize that you are the only one strong enough to kill all the harvestmen. You were made a light harvestman by the monks who were trying to stop the harvestmen many years ago but the purification process put you into a deep sleep so you only woke up many years later. The harvestmen must be destroyed. The monks are dead.

The harvestmen look like tall spindly people with claws that can pick your soul out of your body with their giant fingernails and kill you.

The king has a giant beating heart in his chest.

The world in which this game takes place is like a medieval world.

The harvest is launched by the harvest king to gather more souls to sustain himself.

The harvestmen are said to have come from long ago when monks gave up their souls to the dark god and turned into Harvestmen.
